THE JOB: ADVERTISING ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
We need self-motivated, energetic and passionate customer-focused sales professionals to join our advertising sales team

RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Engage and strategize with decision makers at client companies to demonstrate how The Baby Boomer News can drive revenue to their business.
 Develop and cultivate deep relationships with client executives
 Create marketing plans
 Engage in direct prospecting and lead generation activities.
 Negotiate and close deals.
 Meet revenue goals.
 Detail and goal oriented with good verbal and written communication skills

REQUISITE SKILLS:
 2+ years of B2B Media Sales experience
 Proven track record of success driving revenue through the development of long-term strategic relationships
 Superior knowledge of sales techniques including cold calling, networking, lead generation
 Ability to capture and close the deal.
 Deep understanding of print advertising
 Pluses: Radio or Print Advertising Sales

LOCATION:
The Baby Boomer News is headquartered in Mooresville, NC but we are expanding to other locations and building territories in the greater Lake Norman and north Charlotte regions.

COMPENSATION: Competitive commission.
